eight days later, I finally get around to updating my diary.
that's typical me, I guess. :) but anyway. The last week or so has been pretty nice. I haven't really done anything of note, but I've been taking it easy, and it's nice.
I had to hand in my history exam on monday (gotta love take home exams) and then I worked for 8 hours at the store, which is pretty nice. I made up my ESP (Employability Skills Portfolio) folder while I was working.
so my only in-school exam was a ten minute interview for co-op, largely revolving around the aforementioned ESP folder. because of the nature of my co-op (yearbook editor, aka the stupidest co-op ever) the interview was a wash...my teacher thinks I'm "marvelous" anyway, so I'm not too worried...as long as I make honour roll, I'm good to go. and I should.
my mom took me and Aislynn to an outlet mall near Barrie last night, and it really wasn't all that good. I was really tired for absolutely no reason, at least until I got some iced cappucino from Timmy's into me. outside the van in the parking lot, we found a whole bunch of toads. little toads. like about a centimeter long. they were really cute, and I think I caught about seven...you'd never know I'm almost nineteen.
A guy from sainte marie called two days ago and I have a job interview next thursday...wish me luck. I'm not nervous yet, but I'm sure I will be. I *really* want that job.
I bit the bullet and called Ed last night, only to find that he wasn't home (predictable? perhaps?). but he did actually call me back, and we're hopefully going to the movies on monday night...first date anxiety, here I come.
