I'm a much, much happier person today. Gravity got turned down for any job at HHP, but he seemed to have come to terms with it by the time he called me last night...we talked the whole situation out and I feel a little better about it. I still have some misgivings, but they're more related to the fact that I won't be at Ste. Marie rather than being at DH.
It's so beautiful out here right now that it's impossible to be sad. I love spring right now. I love winter very much, but after being in North Bay for the past 7 months I've started to go a bit stir crazy...it even smells like spring, and the 80 kajillion tonnes of snow outside are melting...it's beautiful.
I got a 73 on my history midterm, which is better than I thought I'd do, so I'm a happy Rhi. Our teacher gives us chocolate, too. And if I fuck up my second essay, he'll adjust the weight of it to ten and make my first essay (I got an 80 on it) worth 20%.
I bought Gravity Clapton tickets for his birthday...so now I owe mis padres 200 smackers. I'm lucky they're so understanding about things like that. I'm also lucky they decided they didn't want to come with us to the show. :)
Thank you everyone who provided words of advice and comfort for me...I appreciate it much more than you will ever know. and I hope you like my new site design. Thanks to Cole and Kiz, from whom I blatantly stole it.
