painted skies and graceful romances

The Goldfinger version of Nena's "99 Luftballoons" rocks a lot harder than I ever thought it could. I love the original (and most new wave music...I'm such a bandwagon hopper these days) but this is surprisingly quite cool. huh.

English exam this morning, and I think I did really well. The essay section went much better than I ever thought it could. The bad news is that it's unlikely that I will get much higher than a 79 in the class...unless I do really well for participation and attendance. which I should, because I have been pretty faithful with that class. So maybe I'll be okay after all. who knows? I got an 88 on my last essay, which I'm really happy about, and Professor Woodward loved my Romeo and Juliet movie review. He called it "sardonic and snappy".

I burnt my hand making lunch...actually, I burnt it twice, so it's this weird V shaped mark over my knuckles...it hurts.

According to my roommates, I have a perfect figure...they're going by that old 36-26-36 thing, which I think is a load of crap. Anyone remember that Nike commercial that talked about all that, and the last part was "and the perfect ass...is anyone who still believes in that". I agree. My roommates tease me because apparently I don't dress sexily enough for my figure. Well, whatever. I don't feel comfortable dressing like that, and I sure as hell don't feel sexy. You know what's sexy? my sloan baby-tee. and it doesn't reveal any skin.

where does he get off telling me that love will save us all
