don't the hours grow shorter as the days go by 10:40 a.m. & 2001-05-20
I hurt. I don't think I slept for long enough. I'm home alone until tonight. Of course, it figures that the only time ever that my parents will take both of my sisters and leave is the weekend that Gravity is working 4 6 hour shifts. Actually, that's not true. Mom, Dad and Babar are driving Squidge out to Saskatchewan at the end of June and then going to the cottage, so there will be time then. I hope.
Work yesterday was great--there were actually people. I was in Shoemaker/Tailor, which is one of the crappiest positions at work. There wasn't ever a shoemaker/tailor building on the site--the archeologist (and I use that term loosely) who was responsible for the rebuilding put one there because he found a shoe in that spot. A shoe that belonged to a 19th century woman, not a 17th century French man. Grrr. But it was alright, anyway. I was called "little one" by a German man. It was kinda neat. After work a bunch of us went out to Cellarman's for supper. I had chicken caesar salad, which is not one of the best things there. I wanted fish and chips, but they had no more fish. GRRR!
I miss Gravity.
I watched the Wizard of Oz this morning while listening to Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. I think I mentioned this a few weeks ago, but Dan told me that if you start Dark Side on the third roar of the Lion in the credits, it will match what's going on in the movie. Holy shit! It's freaking eerie, it is. The Munchkins dance in time to the music and everything.
A day off is a glorious thing :)
