everybody's talking 'bout the new sound, honey

Wow. What a long weekend. I took Saturday off from work to go to Toronto for the Clapton concert. Gravity and I spent most of the day on Queen St. checking out CD stores, although I didn't end up buying anything until the next day. We went out for supper to a restaurant called the bottom line, where we got extremely shitty service because we didn't order anything alcoholic. I *hate* that. Also, what kind of a restaurant in DOWNTOWN TORONTO doesn't take interac? Bastards.

The concert was great. The seats weren't as bad as I'd thought they might be. I was the youngest person there, more or less, and I felt really young. But Clapton did "Bell Bottom Blues" beautifully, and a neat jazz cover of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" as his encore (along with "Sunshine of Your Love") that made me all goosebumpy.

We then took the subway and the bus for two hours to Scarborough to stay at Laura and Bob's (my aunt and uncle) for the night, before going to the ROM the next day. The ROM is sweet, museumy goodness. We ate dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe, which is great if you like that sort of thing, and what is with restaurants in Toronto not having Interac? For the love of God, people.

I'm supposed to go to Barrie with Kitana and Judith today, so I hope that works out. My feet hurt.
