I've tried it all and I'm tired of trying.

Here goes nothing. I apologise for the few days of password-protection, it's a long and stupid story that no one really needs to know the intimate details of. Although if you were really curious, you could just ask.

As some of you have gathered, these last few weeks have been tough. My best friend is furious with me over an entry I wrote back in August that was somewhat critical of her. However, the only reason I know she's mad at me--and it's been a month now--is because I randomly called my friend Anne, who informed me that Angie had called her crying because she was so upset. She called a couple of our other mutual friends as well, I guess, and she told Anne that she's so upset she's been missing class because of it. So this makes me mad. 1) I refuse to be held responsible for someone not going to class. You don't go, that's your own fucking choice. Not mine. 2) She claims to be so upset about this, but it's been amonth and she hasn't called me yet? I hate the idea that she's called our friends. They are not involved, and they shouldn't have to feel pressured into choosing sides, or be involved at all. If you have a problem with me, bring it to ME.

Having said all that, I suppose I should try to make amends...I know I bear some of the responsibility for this. Possibly even most of it. But this is not fair to me, and more than anything else, I'm hurt that I've been treated this way.

I've had assignments coming out of my ears these last few weeks, and the stupid paper. I am so not doing anything e ven remotely related to the paper next year. I'm really starting to hate it. I hate responsibility, period. I got one of my assignments back, though, and I got an 88 on it, which is super--it's worth ten percent of my mark. Let's just hope the essays go as well.

I turned 20 on the weekend. The older I get, the more my life sucks. I did have a good weekend, though. Gravity took me, Squidge and Babar to see Monsters Inc., which is the cutest, most unpretentious movie...and despite what some people might think, I liked the Attack of the Clones trailer. A lot.

2 of my aunts pooled their resources and got me the world's biggest, most rocking care package ever. I got popcorn, cough drops, Advil, neo citran, socks, needlepoint, toothpaste, cookie dough, a picture box, kleenex...pretty much everything I could ever need. Ever. Gravity gave me this really cool ball that's very difficult to explain as well as some glow-in-the-dark planets and fun stuff like that for my room, as well as a visit to North Bay. When we got back here, my roommates had prepared a surprise party for me, complete with ice cream cake from DQ. Benjamin and Kori gave me flannel pyjamas from LaSenza. They're purple with skiing penguins, and they have feet! Mathman got me the matching towels, which is also really cool.

Gravity leaves tomorrow...I miss him already.
