My foot fell asleep! It's all tingly now. I feel kind of gross, but I think that's because I had two half-pints of beer. I don't know why I couldn't say I had a full pint, but I guess it was important that these be noted as separate half-pints. I don't usually drink beer, especially not on school nights, but tonight isn't a school night, and it was in celebration of the end of Term 1. Huzzah.

I wrote my Early Modern Europe and Studies In Shakespeare midterms this morning. I would offer definite thoughts on how these went if I could think of any. I'm expecting maybe 70s on both. I got a 78 on my history essay. It was two days late so I got 4 marks taken away, so I guess it was an 82 in a perfect world.

Dad took me out for lunch as he was passing through North Bay on his way to Kirkland Lake and it was really nice to just "hang out" with him. He's a lot of fun. He had a loaner Ford Explorer for his week of driving around the near north and he was realy excited because it had a 6 CD changer in it. I need to figure out what to get him for Christmas.

Christmas shopping tomorrow--gonna get Squidge/Babar the Disney Monopoly and hte NeverEnding Story on DVD, which they will totally love. Mom gets a turquoise necklace, Kitana and Judith get wooden boxes, Kori gets milk bath from the body shop, Mathman gets the Memorex box set, Benjamin will get a Training Day poster and the love of my life gets a ring. It's a nice, manly-but-not-screaming-of-testosterone kind of a ring.

All in all, today was a nice, full sort of a day. I feel good about myself.
