last christmas I gave you my heart 1:10 p.m. & 06 December 2001
YEsterday was neat. There is a bus stop near our house and Kori and I couldn't figure out which one it was, or where it went, so we hopped on it yesterday and went for an hour and half bus ride around north bay. We went to a really neat section of town called Champlain Park, which is along the waterfront...absolutely beautiful. We also went up to the Heliport campus and the psych ward, but those were at the opposite end of town.
We made ourselves chicken and fries for supper, it was extremely good. I bought myself honey garlic barbecue sauce and it's wonderful. Steak tonight, me thinks.
We also did our gift exchange last night and everyone seemed content with what they got. Benjamin and Kori gave me a book called "The Complete Idiot's Guide to the Tarot" (very helpful) and Mathman gave me "Yellow Submarine" on DVD. Weee!
George Michael's "Last Christmas" (or whatever it's called) is a really kickass pop song.
I still have to find something to get my dad--I'm thinking (maybe) George Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" if it's not too expensive.
I still have to come up with a thousand more words of poetry by tomorrow for my Magnum Opus. Oy vey. Wish me luck.
