and the band played eve of destruction 10:33 a.m. & 14 February 2002
Poor, poor Andrew. I hope things get better for him soon.
Not too much is new here, I will be on my way home shortly (hopefully). I'm all clean and that's a nice feeling, I think. It's all about the clean.
Long day yesterday...I did talk to Klingspon (my Shakespeare prof) and he was able to help me out quite a lot with my essay anxiety. I suppose I should actually read Macbeth and King Lear before I get too worried, though. It was neat, because I got talking to a girl named Bronwen (who I just love, and she has a beautiful Welsh name) and it turns out we live about 15 minutes apart back home. NOt only that, but her brother is married to a girl I went to high school with and haven't seen since about grade eleven.
I also went to see Hemmings (my ubercute BritLIt prof) and ended up talking to him for almost 45 minutes. I told him about my screenplay and he was really interested in it as he did his doctoral thesis on a WWI poet. He has also finally connected me with Kori, which was neat, as we talked about her. It was a good day for stuff like that in general.
Greg came to see me too, though very briefly, and I got a really big goodbye hug from him. I love being hugged more than anything else in the world. I think Mrs. Tones would enjoy Greg, as he is very much the indie manboy type that she loves.
I really want to find the version of Soft Cell's "Tainted Love" where they beak into the Supremes' "Where Did OUr Love Go?" in the middle. I also want the English version of Nena's "99 Luftballoons". I have the Goldfinger one, but my dad claims that Nena did release their own version in English along with the German.
Well, I should posse out, and take my garbage out. See you on the flip side, kids.
