I'd sooner chew my leg off
3:06 p.m. & 17 February 2002

Hee. Remember my quest to find the "Where did our love go?" version of Tainted Love? Well, with considerable patience and the help of WinMX, I found it. and it is sweet 80s goodness.

Not too much is new here. I've spent most the last few days sleeping and reading the Harry Potter books, except someone lost the fourth one so I may never be able to read it. Oh well. I should really be reading Frankenstein instead, or maybe Macbeth, or King Lear, since I'm writing essays about all of the above. All in due time, though. I guess.

I saw Gravity Man yesterday for the first time in about two months. It was good. We got pizza and watched Shrek. Sometimes I forget why I care about him so muchh, especially when I'm apart from him for so long.

We have a wireless keyboard/mouse here and it's driving me up the wall. So please excuse the typos and spelling in this entry, it can all be blamed squarely on the keyboard.

I got a credit card earlier this week in the mail, which I think is quite funny. Not so much the card, but more that the company would give me such a huge credit limit on my first credit card. The good news is that Denial, Mexico (the Utopia created by me and my roommate Benjamin) is now one step closer. mwah.

My dental surgery appointment for the wisdom teeth is tomorrow afternoon, so I guess that should be exciting (maybe?) or at the very least interesting.

Like Bonnie, I too am excited for the release of Men With Brooms. I've curled maybe 5 times in my life, but it is a pretty neat sport, and a lot more strenuous than you would think. Oh, and the ice is slippery. But Canada is really good at it--just check out Kelly Law in Salt Lake. The second for that team is a girl named Georgina Wheatcroft and my sisters and I have decided to make her our hero. The Canadian men's second is about 21-22 and is very cute. But yeah, Men With Brooms...I saw quite a few trailers for it yesterday and they used the intro to the New Pornographers' "Mass Romantic" in it, which made me quite happy. It should be fun.

Enough curling babble, I have to go peel potatoes and carrots for supper.
