if you steal my sunshine 5:55 p.m. & 23 April 2002
Dude! I'm home! Home, the land of garlic wow! sauce, the cordless mouse and keyboard, warm and cuddly kitties and most wacky sisters.
I wrote my Shakespeare exam this morning. It went okay. A lot of writing--it was basically four essay questions. Ouch. My hand cramped halfway through and I had to start holding my hand differently to keep writing. One of the questions quoted a well-known feminist scholar as saying that "unless one is a man, one can not enjoy the humour of the comedies." Which is crap, so I wrote about that, and why "much ado about nothing" would make a great title for both Twelfth Night and Othello. Not that any of this is interesting.
I cleaned a tonne of crap out of my fridge today. I had stuff in there from February. It was sad. I still have to go back up to North Bay and get my stuff, if indeed I am to be staying here for the summer. Which is seeming more and more like a real possibility despite the ongoing strike and my refusal to cross the picket line (it just seems like a bad idea). I have a phone interview with Bell Canada tomorrow for ajob in North Bay, so hopefully that will work out for me. Wish me luck.
