Man, I haven't updated in a while. Sorry about that. I went to North Bay rock city for afew days, and between one thing and another, I didn't get around to doing much computer stuff.
It was a good few days, if occasionally stressful. I found State and Main on DVD for $9 at Schlockbuster, which was aweosme. I love that movie. I felt much better once I got back to my house there--I've fallen in love with North Bay in the last two years, and fallen in love with my house. I'd been feeling on edge for a while before I went back, but once I was there, lying in my bed and staring at the ceiling, I felt a peace I haven't felt since March. Benjamin and I also went out to the Zoo/Wylder's, and saw a cover band called Dali, and it was really fun. I'd forgotten how much I love live music, and people watching. I got to hang out with Kori, too, which was cool. The house was weird without her there, but I'm sure I'll adjust once we turn it into the house of the geeks next year. 'cause you know that's exactly what's going to happen.
The weekend had a few rough patches, as well. I talked to Gravity Man, which in and of itself was good, but had some negative side effects (depression) the next day. It's a situation that can't easily (if ever) be resolved, but I suppose all I can do is keep on keeping on, as my mum would say.
Speaking of which, she is yelling at me now, so I should go make banana muffins, and continue this musings later.
Oh, yes, the OPSEU strike is over, and I start work at Ste. Marie tomorrow. Wish me luck--I'll need it.
