This will be a quick entry as I have not very much time before jetting off to work. I am not looking forward to today as it's already 24 out, and looking to go up to about 35 with a humidex reading of 45. this is insane, compounded by the wearing of wool that covers my whole body. I don't want to pass out again. It was scary.
My weekend was relatively uneventful. I spent Saturday night at one of Mike's friends' cottages, which was interesting. I hate meeting new people, and this was an especially uncomfortable situation because Mike was the only person I knew aside from a mutual friend from work. I don't really enjoy parties in general--even in high school, as Megan can attest to, I usually ended up in a corner by myself after a couplee hours, and that was when all the people there were my friends. I just don't deal well with group situations, I guess. I did have a moderate amount of fun, and I met some pretty neat people, so it worked out well in the end.
The Squidge leaves today for Winnipeg. I miss her already. She'll back on August 2nd, so in the meantime, I'm stealing her room, because the basement is cold.
Mike and I saw episode II again after driving one of his friends home to Newmarket on Sunday. I've know seen it as many times (in theatre) as episode I, so I'm happy. We made fun of it pretty hardcore, but it was good. Last night we played Star Wars TRivial Pursuit with the Squidge and one of her friends (who totally kicked our asses). Bless Star Wars.
I suppose I ought to go get ready for work now--I really need to start updatinghere more. I miss it quite a bit, though not as much as I miss sleeping for more than five hours. Stress is bad.
Warm thoughts and love to many of you right now, rest assured that you will always be in my heart.
