Joan Jett Rocks Afghanistan? Funny, as much as I like Joan Jett, she just doesn't strike me as someone you'd hire to play a concert in Afghanistan for American soldiers.

This will be quick as I have to shower and get dressed. I work at 11 this morning. For some reason I'm really hungry, too--this is what I get for eating breakfast yesterday. Grr.

Mike's all stressed out because his school moved one of his classes from 8-11 a.m. on thursdays to 3-6 p.m. This really sucks, because it pretty much preventshim from working on Thursdays, and also from coming to see me. So, in protest, he's skipping his class and coming to visit me tomorrow. This is pretty exciting--I don't see him nearly enough.

I've got a presentation on the poetry of WWI tomorrow--wish me luck. I have to cover the historical aspects of WWI. Blah.
