monday came and tuesday followed

My chin is like burning. It's all red and gross and looks sort of like I have exzema all over it. It's all Mike's fault. Stupid boys and their stupid facial hair. Heh.

Things here have been pretty busy this past week. I've started working more, which has been mostly fun. I've done filing and typing, and they even save some of the internet research projects for me, which is pretty nice. With any luck I'll also be getting paid pretty soon...which will be even better.

My computer crapped out for 2-3 days last week. It's still not fixed, but it is at least running now, as opposed to cycling halfway through the startup and then shutting off. I really hope that I stop having trouble with it--I'd hate to buy a new computer so soon after getting this one. (& it's two years old now). To say nothing of the fact that I don't have the money to buy a new computer.

My sisters and I are buying our parents tickets to see Stuart McLean and the Vinyl Cafe for their 25th wedding anniversary, which is coming up very soon. I will also be going to see Master McLean with Greg, Benjamin, Mathman and a few others in December here in North Bay, and I am rather excited about that. I think that Babar, the Squidge and I are also going to be having our portraits done as a gift for them--the last time we did a full family portrait was when I was 10, and the last time we did a sister portrait was in 1997. So it's been a long time coming.

This week, I added the title of 'secretary for the history club' to my stupid number of extra-curricular activities for the year.

Mike left me about an hour ago to return to Penetang...even though I know it'll only be a few days before I see him again, it's still hard to let go...

My mom raised almost $700 for the CIBC Run for the Cure for Breast Cancer tomorrow. She's pretty awesome, my mom.
