So. New Magma is out. It's good. There's a picture of me and Benjamin doing Lion Face/Lemon Face (the sketch from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck do) on the cover that's just hilarious. I used the two picture of me doing Lion Face/ Lemon Face to create my own desktop, which led to accusations of 'nerding it up' from Benjamin, who is simply JEALOUS of my superior Lion Face.

Hands are cold. It keeps snowing here, yet none of it has stuck around yet.

I drove on the highway yesterday at a speed of 90 km/h and it was the most desperately terrifying thing ever. Far too fast. I almost hit a luxury sedan backing out of the grocery store parking lot. It's a miracle Ben is still willing to teach me to drive.

I have a thigh holster for my costume now. It's made out of leather and pretty. Now I just have to figure out how to attach my lightsabre to my costume...provided Mike remembers to bring me one.

There aren't words for how excited I am for this weekend.

I have boots for my costume and everything. And I'm getting a roast beast supper on Sunday for my birthday. I made myself homemade macaroni and cheese for supper last night (we finally got our oven fixed) and it was great. I'd never tried anything like that before, but I put garlic and onion into the white sauce, and sprinkled feta cheese on the top of it, which made it all crunchy and good. I need to learn to cook more than just tacos, steak, baked potatoes, mashed potatoes, perogies, pasta, ravioli in a can, stir fry, fajitas, and bacon sandwiches. (Note: I can actually make more than that, but those seem to be the staples). I bought a small chicken for this weekend when Mike's here, so I can wow him with my cooking prowess. (Or lack thereof). Or teach him to cook, which is always fun.

I can't wait to see him again.
