I think my life is passing me by 9:30 a.m. & 21 January 2003
Brrr! It's cold in here. And out there--to the tune of -29°C (-20°F). Our pipes are frozen so we currently have no cold water, which not helping to improve my day any, as I am gross and could probably use a shower.
Ah well. The last few days have been fairly busy, between rehearsals for the m-fing play (I will be so glad when that is over and I really wish I'd never gotten involved in the first place), Magma get-togethers and trying to find a new pair of glasses that won't cost a fortune. Thank god I'm going home this weekend, or else I don't know what I'd do.
It is in fact my boy's birthday this weekend, at which time he will reach the ripe old age of 23, and I will laugh at him--I mean, hold him close and snicker quietly into to his shoulder, becuase he'll be old and I'll still be young. Actually, I probably won't do any of that. But I will get to see copious amounts of him, and spend the night with him, so I will be a happy girl in just a few short days. I just hope he likes his presents.
I own a staple gun now. They're on sale for $5.99 at Canadian Tire, so I picked one up on Sunday as I figured it would make the process of stapling wall-paper to the flats go much faster for set construction. And it did, as the other staple gun we had was old and somewhat cantankerous. The flats look surprisingly good for having been wall-papered with staple guns, especialy when one considers the amount of time saved by not having to paint them.
Benjamin and I are going to see Neil Finn again in just over two weeks. I was not really excited, but I am now. 'cause it's Neil m-fing Finn, guys! And for the second time in just over six months. I should get dressed now.
