if you want me, I'm your man
8:51 a.m. & 30 January 2003

Okay kids, it's really entry time. So. My sinuseseses have reached some sort of fire-stage. I wish that my body would decide exactly what it's doing and get on with it, Monty Python style. (At least our scene wasn't just a string of pussy jokes, either). See, right now, I don't feel great (sinuses, and I was running a low fever last night) but I don't feel bad enough to stay in bed or avoid doing things or to really whine or mope. So I'd either like to be sick and get it over with, or stay well and get stuff done.

Of course, having said that, I will now becoming despeerately ill on Monday, when Benjamin and I are supposed to go see Neil Finn. Dammit. I will go any way.

Gah. Once again, I'm suffering from an inability to focus. Today is officially 'getting stuff done' day, because with my new schedule at work I don't go in on Thursdays, which means I finally have the whole day off. Which means that I get to spend the day running around doing play stuff (hanging posters, grovelling for favours, and making props) as well as paying the rent and getting the lease signed over to me for next year. So, basically, lots of running around, and if I'm lucky, lunch at Wendy's with the Mathman. God bless the Mathman.

I've been pretty busy as of late, doing things like watching the State of the Union address on TV (Mr. Bush is a scary man); not cleaning up my room; panicking about the play (I have these dreams where someone drops out and I have to take over and we're not ready on time); trying to help coordinate the tech rehearsal; going to class; playing with Swappingtons (which, in case you're one of the few people on the internet who doesn't know about this, is a place where you can register to swap things online. you list something (books, CDs, VHS, DVD, etc.) you want to get rid of for a certain number of swap points, and people who have that many points can make you an offer for it. you then get to use those points to get somethign else you want. It actually works pretty well, from what I can see--I'm using it to get some of my school books this term--and if you sign up and list me (fineskylark) as the person who referred you, I get 8 swap points, and man, do I need them. End shameless plug).

I've also been trying to play Star Trek: Armada but everytime I try to play it I just get bounced back to the desktop, which is odd because I'm running Windows98 here and there really shouldn't be any problems. I want my Trek, dammit.

My parents put Kinsey down last night. Poor old fat smelly cat. I hope she's in a better place now.

Time to hit das shower.
