it could've been as sweet as wine

Gah. The wrath of virus has turned into 'the vengeance of' cold. I do feel better, for the mot part because now I'm at least sick in a familiar way.

To say nothing of a familiar place. I am at home now, and it is good. I'm pro-home, for the most part. The part I don't like is the part where I'm still sleeping on the couch because I have no bed. But that is neglible in the long run.

I came home early because my parents had tickets to attend a taping of Royal Canadian Air Farce with the Pathfinders (my mom and sister are the leaders; my other sister is a Pathfinder). So we drove down to the CBC building in Toronto. It was really exciting. The CBC building is full of pictures of shows that they've produced over the years, like the Degrassi shows, Fraggle Rock, the Edison Twins, Under the Umbrella Tree, Mr. Dressup, etc.

The show itself was really funny (it's on the CBC tonight at 8 EST if anyone wants to watch it) and we got to take a look around at all the sets and lights and backstage stuff because my dad's best man from when he married my mom works as a cameraman for the CBC. He does a lot of Hockey Night In Canada stuff too. He was most surprised to see me, I think, because apparently the last time he saw me I was only about a foot long.

Sometimes it's scary when we see my parents' old friends because I guess my parents were the first ones to have a kid (specifically me) and now everyone always says "OMIGOD, you're so big!" Well, it's been almost 22 years--what do they expect? :)

Yeah. So things here are going not too badly. I bought Ryan 6 white roses yesterday so I could give them to him today and I left them in the fridge in the garage overnight. Now they're unthawing on the counter. I hope they're okay. I'm spending tonight at this house because it's Winterama weekend in Penetang.

Anyhow. I should go eat breakfast...
