SARS continues to spread across the province. My mother's family is very health care oriented: my grandmother was a nurse, and four of her five daughters (including my mum) are as well. My one aunt has been on 'working quarantine' ever since coming back from Myrtle Beach, which means that she's allowed to go from home to work and back again (fourteen hour days, apparently) and when she's at home she has to wear a face mask. We were watching the news on Global this evening, and apparently all the hospitals across the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) have been closed to visitors and all staff are being monitored for signs of SARS and have to wear masks. So that takes care of all of my aunts. They've also extended this to all the hospitals in Simcoe County, which is where my parents live, and where my mum works.

It is a pretty scary thing to think about.

X men 2 looks like it's going to be a phenomenal movie.
