sometimes I think it's a sin
2:54 p.m. & 18 April 2003

So. The Mathman has departed for the fair shores of Missasauga for the summer, and Arwyn has gone for the weekend, and I have the whole upstairs of the house to myself. Which is good, as I have negative desire go downstairs and be around other people. Especially the other people I live with.

I went out with Lady Steph last night, which was good times except that I missed the bus coming back up to the school and had to take a cab. On the whole yesterday was a pretty crummy day for buses. Kori and I went out for seafood for lunch, and we got on one of the overload buses and had to wait for half an hour up at the school for the next one; and when I took the bus to Steph's it was 20 minutes late so I have to wait nearly half an hour outside in the cold, cold wind for it.

the only good thing about being up at the school was that I got to check out my marks. Only 20th century lit was in so far (not suprising since I still have three more exams to write) and I came out with an 80 overall, which was a pleasant surprise. Given the number of consistent 78s I accrued throughout the year, I was pretty sure I'd be somehwere between 75-78, especially since being sick twice this term pretty much killed me for attendance.

I had Key Lime cheesecake last night it was to die for. full of light, fluffy, eggy goodness.

If you'll excuse me now, I have to go have a heart attack.

Just kidding. I'll be here all week, tip your bartender.

Can't wait to go home and not be here anymore. I wish that I hadn't locked myself in on the lease, but unfortunately hindsight is rather better than foresight. Steph is looking for roommates for our Teacher's college year, so I'm strongly considering that. Her apartment is quite nice, and it would only be living with 2 other people, and no video games. And her place is clean. It's like a dream come true.

Or maybe I'll just go to grad school and get a cat and name it Margaret Catwood. Or two cats and name them Jack and Algy.

One of my English teachers in high school had two cats named Cat and Astrophe.
