It's all a joke
It's all a game
And I would lose it if I played...

It's always a bit sad to be apart from your family during the holidays, even if you're not especially religious. This year was my family's turn to host my mother's family (she has 4 sisters) at our house for Easter, and it sounded like it was a pretty fun time. Mike went for an hour or so to say hi, and to bring my family scratch tickets. A-z won three dollars, so she was really excited.

Ugly Dresses.com is a laugh a minute, folks. Highly recommended. Even if I can't type worth anything right now.

I'm really not getting anything done today. I have my eighteenth century lit exam tomorrow, and I ought to be more worried about it, I think, but somehow I can't bring myself to do anymore studying than I already have. I've read a tonne of 18th century poetry and both Frances Burney's Evelina and Walpole's The Castle of Otranto. I didn't read Aphra Behn's the Rover, but I figure that will be okay. I think I've probably read less for this class than any other class i've taken at university.

I ate a lot food this weekend. Kori's father and step-mother had us over for supper on Friday night, which was quite enjoyable, and I made an appointment with Mer to get a massage on Thursday. We had turkey breasts stuffed with feta and sundried tomatoes (no olives for me!) with roasted potatoes, greek salad, cauliflower casserole and a fruit salad cake for dessert. Chockfull of goodness. I also got to go to her aunt's for Chinese food on Saturday night. I'm all about the chicken almond ding. Really, I'm all about anything with almonds.

Darcy and Greg are making me dinner tonight. Apparently we're having roast with potatoes and carrots. I'm excited. Cute boys cooking me dinner is always great!

Clone High is a brilliantly awesome show and I urge you all to watch it or download the episodes. The JFK character is wonderful: "You're headed for a baknuckle sandwich! And by baknuckle, I mean my fist!"

K-t (formerly known as the Squidge; I find it interesting that both my sisters have names that can be made into rap-esque abbreviations) got her midterms marks, she figures they will be good enough to get her into Nipissing. I certainly hope so. As little sisters go, she's pretty cool, and it would be great to have her here in North Bay Rock City to bug and hang out with and cook for etc.

Only Three more exams, and four more days, until I can be home to pet my beloved kitties.
