we're here for a good time 10:37 p.m. & 30 June 2003
Thank god! I'm really starting to get frustrated with the add an entry limitations; it seems like no matter when I try to add something, it's always busy. But I digress, and here I am, eighteen days later.
SO to briefly recap the last three weeks: working at SMATH is like high school all over again, with all the same bullshit that people try to pull, and I hate it so much...this is definitely going to be my last summer there, and quite possibly my last summer in Elmvale as well. This saddens me, as I love my job very very much, and it normally makes me quite happy, but I cannot handle the politics and general immaturity of the majority of the people I work with. Also, new GM wants (apparently) to make us into a first person only site next year, which is quite possibly the worst idea ever.
I'll rant more later. Good things at work continue to be my friends, my boy, and the new drama we're doing this year. It's wicked awesome.
I saw Sam Roberts at the Kee last night. He's inccredible. If his music stays as good as it has been, he will be HUGE: the live show was phenomenal. Waiting half an hour past the doors opening time to get in to the Kee was not; the further hour before the concert started made me pretty crusty. I'm getting old, guys, I was nearly asleep by ten-thirty. and then Sam rocked my pants off.
Scotland planning is still going slowly, but Mila and I are slowly getting there, and I think we will have fantastic amounts of fun in the country of my forefathers and foremothers...possibly some foresheep as well.
Anyhow. I am finished for now. I apologize for the lack of cohesion to this entry and I wish that I could do so much more than this.
As a final thought, I *HATE* my parents' keyboard.
