So the Silver Snail ended up not happening yesterday, as my insides were quite queasy. We got all the way to Barrie before we turned back, and I was really mad. I like Toronto, and I like the Snail (geek central, in case you're wondering), and I had my eye on a Catwoman Barbie doll figure (part of Barbie's new pop culture collection). Mike and his brother carried on valiantly without me...and I took a nap. I feel much better today, thankfully.

I'll be in Toronto twice before the week is out, anyway, so it's no huge loss. Tomorrow, instead of going to see Return of the King as planned, I will be going to see Mama Mia with my family. I'm a little sad, but most excited. I'm a sucker for musicals and I've only ever been to one big-street Toronto production (Beauty and the Beast)--and that was nearly ten years ago.

I am knitting up a storm and it is good. Or possibly scary.

The cats are very excited for Christmas...wrapping stuff is their favourite part of all, because it means that they get to play with the paper.
