Popcorn is so awesome.

Today was a pretty good day. I got to see Whale Rider (which is SO good) tonight, which is something I have wanted to do for quite sometime...Hurray for New Zealand...sometimes it really seems like nothing bad has ever come out of that country (I mean that in a cultural sense).

The symposium this afternon went really well. I felt like a huge tool when I read my paper, since most of the students there were from a first year tech writing course, and postmodern theory is pretty dry...but some of them had nice comments, and that made me feel better. And the audience really liked our Timothy Findley puppet show, which was nice.

and I got to wear my new suit, which as we all know, makes for a happy rhi.
